You either love or loathe a wage increase, depending on which end of the transaction you’re on.

It’s time to head to the Fair Work website and review the updated awards. The new minimum wage rates apply from the first pay period on or after 1 July 2017 and incorporate a 3.3% increase.

If you are having trouble deciphering the web of information available on wage rates, you can give Fair Work’s helpline a call. They are very prompt and extremely helpful and give you peace of mind and the confidence you’re paying your staff correctly.
